An alert when any entity where you hold a funding request posts a new Form 470, so a re-bid never goes unnoticed. See what they requested, whether it is your service line, the allowable contract date and days remaining, and whether a consultant is attached.
Service providers — new business
A filtered feed of new Form 470s by state (one, several, or national), category (C1 or C2), service type, and bandwidth requested, for example Category 1 internet up to 1 Gbps. Optionally, see only postings with no consulting firm attached.
Consultants and applicants
Your clients’ Form 470s confirmed the day they post, and a running list of tracked clients that have not yet posted a FY2027 Form 470. Consultants can also see Form 470s in their states posted with no consulting firm named.

The Form 470 sync runs on the same schedule as our funding-wave syncs.
- Each posting is matched against your watches.

They appear on your dashboard and in a report page, and alerts go out by email and, optionally, to Slack or Teams.
Three alert events. One alert each.
- New posting that matches a watch.
- Seven days before the allowable contract date, if the window is still open.
- Material amendment: the services requested or the contract date changed.
Each event sends one alert and never repeats.

- Incumbent book, by SPIN (your service provider number): every entity where you hold a funding request
- Prospecting by state, category, service type, and bandwidth requested

You control every watch
Each watch has its own switch and its own states.
On your dashboard, the page that shows a watch’s matches also holds its settings: an email On/Off switch and a state-scope picker covering all 56 states and territories, with Check all and Uncheck all.
Defaults come from your own book: the states of your tracked clients or your FRNs, never typed in by hand. A watch on your own clients or your own book is never narrowed by default.
No surprises when you change a setting
- Turning email back on never floods: held events are not re-sent, and alerts resume with the next new posting.
- Every Radar email ends with a Manage alerts for this watch link to that watch’s settings.
- A contract-window-opened notice held back by your settings is logged in Alert history, marked “held back by this watch’s alert settings — logged, not emailed,” not hidden.
Beyond Form 470
New applicants, and the FRNs you already hold.
New Entity Radar
An alert when USAC creates a new Billed Entity in the states you watch: a school, library, or consortium entering the program before its first Form 470. It uses the same watch and state-scope settings as 470 Radar and has its own panel on your dashboard.
Your FRNs, tracked
- Vendor FRN tracker: every FRN naming your SPIN, with status, wave and FCDL date, committed, disbursed to date, Form 486 status, and invoice deadline.
- SPAC (Form 473) status, tracked per SPIN.
- Invoice deadline and IDE alerts: the deadline per FRN, and a 15-day countdown to request the one-time extension when a deadline is missed.

FAQ
Fair questions, straight answers.
Is the allowable contract date the date bids are due?
No. The allowable contract date is the earliest date a contract may be signed under that Form 470, 28 days after certification. An applicant’s own RFP may set its own timetable for responses, which USAC does not publish. 470 Radar shows the allowable contract date and the days remaining until it, and links to the Form 470 so you can read the applicant’s instructions.
Where does the data come from?
USAC Open Data: the three public Form 470 datasets for basic information, services requested, and consultants. No EPC login or credentials are needed, and we do not read EPC or PIA.
Will you email districts?
No. Alerts go to you, by email and optionally to Slack or Teams. 470 Radar never contacts the applicant or the consulting firm on a posting.
Can I watch more than one state?
Yes. 470 Prospecting is $995/year for one state, $1,495/year for up to 10 states, and $2,495/year for national coverage. The Provider Bundle includes national Prospecting.
Do consultants pay extra?
